Teenagers and Self Harm
Every year there has been an increase in numbers of teenagers that practice self harm. Some are hurting themselves to feel relieved from peer pressure, anxiety, frustration, and even bad events. On the other hand, some teens are using self harm for attention because they feel neglected from parents and friends. Self harm is a problem many teenagers are facing that can cause bullying or even drug use. The best way to prevent teens from harming themselves is to help them before they start.
Bullying happens when someone or a group of people with more power repeatedly and intentionally causes hurt or harm to another person or group of people who feel helpless to respond. Bullying can continue over time, is often hidden from adults and will probably continue if no action is taken.
